last day at andersen's

last day of work ytd.
had gift-wrapped choco n sweets to give to pple at work.
received some totful ang kongs in return too...so sweet of them :)
mike discreetly handed me a bag of chocos (the expensive kind) after work ytd too...
apparently he'd asked xiang wat kind of chocos i'd liked n they'd decided on the chocos that has my all favourite macadamia nuts.
hai... hadn't wanted to end our working time together on such a bad note too...
gave him his share of parting gift too.

'godpa' took us to the kbox at selege rd to 'celebrate' our farewell bash.
zhiwei, peiling, 'godpa', mike, huijuan, xiang n i.
won't be able to see them as often (aside from xiang or when we go down ps) after tonite le.
there wasn't a pair of dry eyes at the end of the nite :/

in fact, had to take care of two weepy n bawling gals at the end of the nite -.-"
can u imagine someone singing karaoke till they start crying?
after we left kbox i spent an eternity consoling peiling n listening to her troubled past.
yeah... no wonder she bawls so heart-rendingly.
but she's been such a strong gal so far, i'm sure she'll carry on...

reached home bout 4am or later with a splitting headache.
been a long time since i got myself intoxicated -.-

feels wierd not to go to work today.
had worked for one whole month continuously with only a day or two off days throughout the whole month.
tho i'm sad to leave these ple at work when we'd jus gotten so close, i'm relieved to be able to sit back n relax again like now.
esp reluctant to go back to work noe tt they have changed management (the boss handed the the franchise back to the main bencoolen company to take over for 2 to 3 months to see how come the ps outlet has been making losses continuously).
man, the management who came down last nite sure was bossy n unfriendly.
sure glad we'd quit n do not have to work wif them anymore (tho the manager sandra did ask me if i wan to continue working). as if we wud continue after seeing the horrendously unfeeling n business/ military-like way they ran the store last nite after; so different from the friendly, casual n flexible way we ran the stall.

will be going back down ps to visit them on friday.
ps having a whole-mall-all-out-sale from 7pm-12am, lotsa things to buy ;)
gotta buy new clothes n stuff, esp pants n jeans... my very last two pair of jeans have holes in very unseemly places -.- dun even noe how some holes came about =/
