Chantler - the fuzz therapy
Maths lessons definitely have to be my most dreaded subject now. n hence, so are wednesday's lessons =/ Always feel so full of shit after wed's maths lectures.
Went out with Xiang n David after maths lecture today... brought Piggy (their pet Sze Zhu n my god-dog) to grooming, n there i met the most loveable golden retriever... Chantler >.<>.<
how can they let virtual strangers jus stroke, rub, hug, kiss n basically jus drool all over them?? ok... judging by how beautiful n loveable they are, think they're used to these kinda attention by now. Felt alot better from my afternoon's maths trauma after leaving the place :)
After lunch, went down Sim Lim n later Bugis to walk around and buy their iPod after that. Been quite long oso since i'd seen david since he's entered NS. Had a pretty good time... sort of return me to the old days when the three of us often go out. Old jokes, un-inhibited laughter, unself-conscious self-critisms n concerns voiced out loud, n occasionally looking to each other for approval n getting it.
He's going back in after this one week break (he POP le) bout next monday i guess... supposed to be posted to smth very siong. Wonder if i can 'donate' my fats to him to work off in there.... humph.

Manga Scanlations
Been filling up my days by reading downloaded manga scanlations- a term used for manga tt the online community has scanned n put on net for the benefit of others to download n read.
In fact, i have downloaded so many manga series on my com that i've unknowingly used up around 1.5 GB of memory jus on my manga. n there're still a few series i'm searching for to dl. Gotta remember to trash some of them after i've read it... i'm only left wif 1.1 GB of memory on my com -.- (stupid ah pek compt). But i seem to be downloading them alot faster then i can finish reading them in time to bin them so i can have space to dl some more... the amt of yet-to-be-read comics on my com will probably last me at least two whole weeks even if i'm fast...hmmm.
On the upside tho, i'm saving more money on comics/ manga n entertainment since i've "discovered" how easily manga can be downloaded online couple months ago - courtesy of elizabeth's introduction. n since then, i've onli realized HOW MUCH manga there are available free online. Though most of the very big n marketable names in manga n anime are already licensed n discontinued from being scanlated, there's still a whole wide online world of popular mangas (n some not so popular ones of cos. hey, the world's only fair. n anyway, each are entitled to their own opinions) free for the getting out there.
n series that i know of but cannot afford n dun like well enough to buy (imagine a title series having 20 to 25 books at least, each going at a rate of 5bucks at least... multiply that by half a dozen series i wud actually like to read... the amt of money i'll have to spend...its not a joke man), now i can freely get them online.
The downside though? I HAVE to n can read them only on my compt n can't conveniently bring them out wif me when i go out. esp when i feel so damn bored on journeys to n from sch. n dling some titles that are onli available chapters by miserable chapters is so damn tedious ~.~ plus becos north america get their jap manga relatively slower than japan, taiwan or even singapore, the series scanlated are rarely up to date wif the most current ones released in Asia. (No choice, importing takes time. esp so does translation for them. i'm amazed at the amt of pple in the fandom community in america n europe who actually knows enough japanese language to translate these huge works *raise eyebrows, impressed* ). Hmmm... n some pple are concerned over wat all these compt screen staring will do to my eyesight.
But still, this is a small price to pay for all the free comics i can read i guess. Hah! =p

Met up with Hanxiang ytd.
Talked quite a bit. She asked some questions which i found hard to answer.
was stunned into making some pretty fake response actually... cos i was so surprised by her qns tt my mind couldn't turn fast enugh to think of an adequate reaction. Wonder if she saw thriugh them...
Dun like lying to her though...
one of the big reasons that she's one of my most cherished frens is tt i have always shared my truest side with her, n consequently, didn't find the need to conciously lie to her.
Of cos, the other big reason was that we were so much alike -in personality, values n beliefs- tt we almost always noe the reasons for n causes behind each other's almost every speech or behaviour. Sometimes, when i felt that no one understands how i feel n i'm alone in my twisted perceptions of things, i seeked solace in knowing that hanxiang wud understand wat i'm going thru. That shd i confide in her, i wud find the consolation i need in knowing that my sentiments were shared by her. How important it is to have a fren always there for you.
But being the super conservative n ultra traditional gal she is, there were of cos some things i couldn't tell her. n probably never wud.
Everyone has secrets. Recently, mine has been steadily increasing. Hopefully, these will be bygones a couple years down the road...
