Flour-coated, calorie-ridden
Ran for two consecutive days, shiok anot u tell me?!
Ran bout 5 rounds ytd (in bout 50mins, give or take) and god-noes-how-many-rounds-and-i-can-say-god
-cos-haha-i'm-so-NOT-religious-so-flame-me-lah rounds today cos i tend to give up counting or lose count after the 6th or 7th round. But considering i ran 1HR AND 50MINS today, doing the maths, think i should have ran at least 8 or 9 or more ba... (seriously lost count).

Cos i deep-fried lots and lots of TEMPURA today!!!
(Naturally, i ate it too.)

Ok, start!!
FIRST, GO TO DAISO @ IMM TO BUY TEMPURA FLOUR.
*Hears alot of pple falling off their chairs...*
THEN, FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS AT THE BACK.
*Hears curses in disbelief*
AND THEN, IF U DUNNO JAP, VIVIS TRANSLATE FOR YOU NOW.
*Hears knuckles cracked warningly*
JUS ADD 120ML OF WATER AND 200GRAMS OF TEMPURA FLOUR IN A BIG BOWL AND STIR UNTIL EVEN.
*Feels searing doubtful glares...*
OR IS THAT 200ML OF WATER AND 120GRAMS OF FLOUR...?
*Tsk tsk tsk... such language*
WHICH IS ACTUALLY ALL TRANSLATED FOR THE UNDISCERNING BUYERS ALREADY ON A SMALL CARD ON THE SHELF.
*Hears glass breaking as monitors all over feel the wrath of their owners' fists*
Aiyoh. I no secret receipe lar!!
Everything jus follow instructions can already lor, then the rest is all trial and error.
Oil they say heat until 160 degrees celcius u really go measure temperature meh? Heat long enuf n see steam over oil can throw flour-mixture coated prawns/ fish slices/ crab meat/ brinja/ ladies finger/ shitake mushrooms/ sweet potatos etc into oil and let it sizzle already.
Though i can tell u after trial and error that u shd put a pinch of salt (or two) into the flour n water mixture and that U DUN HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL ITS GOLDEN BROWN, or worse, CHAO DA to take it out. If the oil is hot enuff, half a minute to one minute will do, take it out when the coating still looks beigish or yellowish white, and TAA-DAH!!! Instant tempura that looks like the ones u get outside but at their cost/ market price instead of the over-priced shit they charge us for in restaurants!
And remember to eat it when its hot and preferably with mayonaise (i bought jap mayonaise jus few days before!! How coincidental is that?! They go so perfectly lor!) or Jap soya sauce (i got huge stocks of it left from my sushi-eating days!! >.< The soy sauce is SO to-die-for i tell u! I nearly cried in joy at the combination. My tastebuds have died n gone to food heaven!).
After having two such assorted-tempuras, sinful, calorie-chocked meals today, u see now why i have to run?
Still, i reckon its still worth every round =p
**Sorry for all the crap english, no mood to blog serious stuff now, n think crapping is light enough n uplifting to MY SOUL anyway (ahaha, too bad for all the blood pressures i've raised =p ). And anyway, all's in the name of entertainment. U CANT JOLLY WELL SAID U WERE NOT AMUSED CAN U??!
